oleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraising Trustee to provide strategic oversight and guidance on fundraising activities and strategy during an exciting period of growth for the charity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fundraising who is passionate about conservation and can help support the long-term sustainability and development of the organisati
on.
Key Responsibili
tiesProvide strategic oversight of the charity’s fundraising activities, ensuring alignment with its conservation mission and long-term g
oalsSupport and advise on the development and implementation of a sustainable and diversified fundraising strat
egy.
Help identify and develop new income opportunities, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, individual giving, community engagement and e
ventsUse personal networks and connections, where appropriate, to support introductions and fundraising opportuni
ties.
Advocate for the charity and promote its work to potential supporters, partners, and stakeh
oldersWork collaboratively with fellow trustees and staff to ensure fundraising objectives and priorities are realistic, monitored, and aligned with organisational
goalsEnsure fundraising activities are ethical, compliant, and aligned with relevant regulations and best pra
ctice.
Support and encourage staff or volunteers involved in fundraising where appr
opriateContribute to reviewing fundraising budgets, KPIs, and performance
metricsParticipate in fundraising events, campaigns, and donor engagement activities where p
ossibleHelp foster a culture of fundraising across the organisation, encouraging all trustees to play a role in supporting income gen
erationAttend trustee meetings and contribute to the overall governance and strategic direction of the c
harity.

sential.
