Job Opportunity: Field Archaeologist/Senior Archaeologist – Leeds
We are seeking a Field Archaeologist or Senior Archaeologist to support our expanding regional projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of site experience in commercial archaeology.
You will join our team and may work on various sites across the UK, including large-scale evaluations and excavations. The role may also involve geophysics projects if you have relevant experience or are willing to learn. Familiarity with paper-based and digital recording systems is desirable but not essential.
Candidate Requirements:
* Practical experience working on archaeological sites.
* A degree in archaeology or equivalent experience.
* Driving license.
* CIfA membership at PCIfA level.

Applicants should be flexible regarding travel and working hours, as projects are located across the UK. We prioritize local archaeologists for local sites to benefit both archaeological and environmental outcomes. A full driving license and access to a car are required. We offer a competitive subsistence package, travel allowance, and single-occupancy accommodation. Overtime during unsocial hours (10pm–6am) is paid at 1.5x rate or TOIL.
