New Directions Education is recruiting a dedicated and adaptable secondary-trained SEND Teacher to work in a specialist SEND school in North Liverpool. This role involves teaching pupils with complex needs who are working at a primary attainment level, within a supportive and well-resourced setting.

The Role:
7. Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons adapted to primary-level learning
8. Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and sensory needs
9. Work closely with teaching assistants and multi-disciplinary professionals
10. Create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment
11. Track pupil progress and contribute to individual education plans
The Ideal Candidate:
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), secondary trained
13. Experience working with SEND and complex needs (desirable)
14. Confident adapting subject knowledge to a primary curriculum level
15. Patient, resilient, and flexible approach
16. Strong behaviour management and communication skills
17. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
