We're supporting a leading housing provider seeking a specialist to deliver high-quality Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door inspections, and compliance oversight across communal and residential buildings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technical fire professional looking to make a meaningful impact on safety, regulatory compliance, and building quality.
Pay rates: £40- £50/h
Duration: 3 months
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments (FRA), ensuring compliance with PAS 79, BS 9999, PAS 9980, and relevant sector guidance.
2. Inspect fire doors, communal areas, and compartmentation to identify risks and recommend remedial actions.
3. Assess buildings against statutory requirements such as RR(FS)O 2005, CDM Regulations 2015, and the Fire Safety Act.
4. Produce clear, detailed technical reports and compliance recommendations.
