This is an exciting time to be joining us in the Adult Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Practice Manager. This full-time role has become available due to the current post holder retiring and will involve managing two locality Safeguarding Hub areas of the County for the Team. We are a very supportive and nurturing team and have a very clear vision of embedding quality of practice in working to protect those adults at risk in our area. We very much work with the principles of 'Making Safeguarding Personal', placing the person at the centre of all we do and what outcomes they want to achieve, as part of our support. We work collaboratively with key partners and stakeholders, including Police, CQC and Health & Social Care. We offer regular professional supervision, hybrid and flexible working. What you will be doing The role will be managing two areas of the County as part of the Locality work for safeguarding as well as providing support to other areas when required You will manage a small team of Social Workers/Safeguarding Adult Practitioner. Chair Safeguarding Meetings as required. Provide regular supervision to those you line manage. Undertake visits to providers in the areas you cover when necessary, and as part of the team's preventative work. Attend network multi-agency meetings and also be on the rota for attending the HRDA - High Risk Domestic Abuse meetings. Deputise for the Specialist Manager Safeguarding when necessary and support with management cover for the Triage Team when necessary. Undertake joint working with the Quality Improvement Team, CQC, Police and Health.
