Team Overview And Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate professional to be our IMR Sales Manager, located in London, Bishopstoke or Dusseldorf, with commercial acumen and at least 3-5 years of experience within commercial roles to provide services, technical solutions or EPCI projects. Joining our sales force, you’ll be part of some of the world’s boldest and most impactful energy transition projects. The Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team is in charge of services offering either as spot activities, a stand‑alone Service Level Agreement (SLA) or as part of an EPCI package. She/he will lead the tendering process and proposals preparation efficiently and effectively and support the Commercial Organization to focus on strategic value creation. We work in the Transmission Segment and more specifically in the Submarine Power Cable business, managing EPCI projects for Offshore Wind, Interconnection and Power from Shore applications. Oversee strategic accounts, initiate and develop new accounts, contribute to IMR sales concepts and execute sales strategies, present solutions and value propositions, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors. Responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams during the tendering, negotiation, and contract closing stages.
IMR Sales Manager Main Responsibilities
* Develop new leads and opportunities to sell additional services.
* Expand network and keep close relationships with key stakeholders.
* Lead the tendering process, clearly communicating internally the strategy and keeping the tendering team focused on key objectives.
* Lead contract negotiations.
* Deliver annual sales targets while achieving and exceeding the sales budget for the assigned customers/projects.
* Track and manage the IMR sales opportunity pipeline from the earliest stages of project development through to contract closure to deliver the annual Business Plan.
* Maintain continuous customer contact (visits, calls, etc.) to understand their challenges and needs.
* Work closely with customers to prioritize which opportunities present the best chance of conversion in order to support the Business Unit in developing a deliverable forward strategy.
* Provide recommendations on commercial aspects to be applied to proposals to reflect market conditions.
* Develop, establish and manage regular reports related to all relevant sales, market and competitor activity.
* Continuously work to reinforce and protect the Prysmian brand image.
* Ensure bilateral communication flow between the market and the business to establish and maintain positive corporate client relationships.
* Effectively resolve disputes across all projects, both internally (with project managers, bid team members and all internal stakeholders) and externally (with clients and subcontractors) as required.
* Support project managers during the execution of projects on commercial matters and client inquiries.
* Manage the handover to the execution teams.
* Define and implement improvement actions deriving from lessons learned outputs.
* Foster an effective working relationship between Sales and the functions within the business.
Who are we looking for?
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Electrical/Mechanical) or Scientific and Economic disciplines.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel (VBA is a real asset).
* Able to manage complex price lists and variable structures of costs/prices (products and services).
* Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.

Minimum Experience
* 3‑5 years working experience in a commercial role for the sale of services, solutions or projects, preferably in a medium‑large worldwide organization.
* Previous experience in a similar role and preferably in EPCI companies. Experience with cable installation (submarine and/or land) or repairs is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of Sales and Project Management concepts.
