Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to join the Pharmacy based Aseptic Services team. We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Trust and moved into our brand new site in 2023. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of support activities to the aseptic production service.

Main Duties of the Job
* Parenteral Nutrition | Chemotherapy | Intravenous Additive Service
* Daily readings in both set up and clean room, weekly settle plates and swabs, and cleaning duties
* All activities are carried out in accordance with departmental safe systems of work and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles

Job Description
In the role you will assist and provide support within the effective and efficient day‑to‑day operations of the aseptic service. You will carry out environmental procedures, including daily readings, weekly settle plates and swabs, and cleaning duties. All documentation must be fully completed, filed and stored correctly. You will ensure that the aseptic process is carried out in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures and GMP principles.

Experience (Desirable)
* Experience working in a healthcare environment
* Experience of stock rotation
* Experience of working in stores and distribution
Essential
* Enthusiasm for the position
* Good written communication skills
* Methodical with attention to detail
* GCSE grade C/4 or above (must include Maths and English) or equivalent (such as functional skills)
* Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Skills or a Level 2 Science Manufacturing Technician or equivalent
Desirable
* Standard keyboard/IT skills
