We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in Primark Birmingham Fort, B24 9FP. You'll be an essential part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new beauty brand into a high-street store. Your responsibility will be to drive sales by ensuring the stands are fully stocked, as these brands sell quickly!
About the role:
This role is primarily based within the B24 9FP postcode.
Confirmed working hours: 12 hours per week
* Monday 6:00am - 10:00am
* Thursday 6:00am - 10:00am
* Sunday 6:00am - 10:00am
Opportunities may arise to work across other categories, including Books and Entertainment, Toys, and General Merchandising.
Your tasks will include:
* Product Placement and Replenishment: arranging and organising products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal; ensuring stock levels are sufficient to drive sales; monitoring stock and reordering as needed.
* Beauty Knowledge: becoming an expert on health and beauty brands, products, and trends.
* Compliance and Standards: adhering to merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines; following planograms to ensure consistency.
* Promotional and POS Setup: setting up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
* Communication and Relationship Building: maintaining good relationships with store colleagues, especially managers; providing feedback via our feedback application.

* You have merchandising or retail experience.
* You take ownership of your work, meet deadlines, and solve problems proactively.
* You take pride in delivering high standards and excellent service.
* You are comfortable with manual handling and moving products from warehouse to shopfloor.
* You are confident using a company tablet for tasks like downloading briefs, taking photos, and answering questions.
