A high-achieving, inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth is looking to appoint a Music Teacher from September 2025. This role is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about musical diversity, technology-enhanced learning, and student performance.
The Role:
You will teach KS3–KS4 Music, with scope to teach KS5 and take a lead on composition and production if desired. The school boasts a suite of practice rooms, a music tech lab with industry software, and strong links with the local music community.
Responsibilities:

Deliver a wide-ranging curriculum that covers theory, composition, performance, and digital music

Lead ensembles and support a range of school performances, festivals, and concerts
*
Use DAWs and MIDI technology to enhance student creativity and production
*
Run music enrichment (e.g. choir, rock band, music production club)
Ideal Candidate:

Degree in Music or related field with QTS
*
Instrumental/vocal strength and experience leading performances
*
Confident using Logic, Ableton, or other DAWs
*
Committed to inclusive music education and the power of student expression
