Location: London, Kings Cross
Reports to: Finance Manager, Side London
Job Type: Full-Time, hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the London studio)
This is a hybrid position with an expectation for at least 3DPW in our Kings Cross studio.
About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our London finance team who support the UK and France. This role will support the Finance Manager in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, while also partnering with business teams to drive performance insight and support effective decision-making.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong accounting foundations who is looking to grow in a fast-paced, international environment, and who enjoys a blend of structured monthly reporting and ad hoc problem-solving.
The company uses D365 Finance & Operations as its finance system so the role involves working within this system to create management information on a monthly basis and for the year-end close.
Requirements
Month-End and Management Accounting
o Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK and France
o Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments with supporting documentation.
o Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure key schedules are updated monthly.
o Support variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast.
Year-End and Statutory Support
o Assist with preparation of audit files and year-end reporting packs.
o Provide reconciliations and supporting documentation for external auditors.
o Help compile information for statutory accounts under local GAAP/IFRS where needed.
Business Partnering and Ad Hoc Finance
o Support finance manager and lines of business with ad hoc financial analysis.
o Prepare reports for key stakeholders to support decision-making.
o Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and commercial teams to gather inputs and validate spend.
o Contribute to improving financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
What We’re Looking For:
· Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or newly qualified.
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
· Strong Excel skills
· Experience with accounting software ideally D365 a plus.
· Comfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
· A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
· Experience in the video games, technology or media space a plus.
