Our growing In-House Maintenance Team is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join us as a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis across helping ensure all completed repairs and maintenance works are of high quality and comply with current legislative requirements.

This is a key role in driving positive tenant satisfaction and continuous improvement to our class-leading repairs service and is a great opportunity for a driven individual to expand their knowledge in Repairs & Maintenance.

As a Quality Inspector, you will hold responsibility for the quality of repairs and maintenance works carried out by contractors and operatives, always striving to maintain and provide an efficient service for our tenants.

This role operates on a 50/50 basis between office-based analytical work and on-site inspection activity.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Conducting post inspections on all repair and maintenance works to ensure a high-quality repairs service is delivered in our tenants homes.
Monitoring contractor and operative performance and adherence to agreed-upon quality standards and timelines.
Delivering detailed written and verbal responses to tenants, clearly explaining findings from post-inspections and addressing concerns regarding repair quality and service delivery.
Conducting thorough root cause analysis of complaints, repeat repairs, and service failures to identify underlying issues.
Maintain accurate, well-documented records of investigations, outcomes, and follow-up actions.

Our ideal candidate? Your CV and covering letter will demonstrate the following:

A relevant qualification in a building related discipline or site management or equivalent knowledge as demonstrated through a track record of relevant work experience.
Experience carrying our property inspections and a good understanding of relevant building regulations and compliance legislation.
Knowledge and experience of repairs and maintenance works, including a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation & CDM Regulations.
Experience using various IT systems to manage and track data used for producing detailed reports.
