Job Overview
Provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the consultant, medical and nursing team. Work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising your own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved. Support the facilitation of patients along the defined pathway.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main Duties
* Provide an accurate, confidential and supportive administration/secretarial service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) to ensure a safe and efficient patient pathway and deliver appropriate support to families and carers.
* Support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial and administrative service.
* Demonstrate high level of secretarial and audio typing skills to deliver the service accurately and at speed.

Qualifications
* Good standard of education.
Essential Criteria
* Significant audio typing experience.
* Experience of working in a busy office.
* High level secretarial skills.
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ business and admin Level 3.
* Knowledge of NHS Organisations.
* Medical terminology.
* IT skills / knowledge.
* Ability to affect change in a positive manner.
* Works well as a team member.
