Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader to join our Supported Living service in Huddersfield
About the role
As a Team Leader you will provide support to our Supported Living Services in Huddersfield and Halifax, providing specialised person‑centred support. Radis recognises each person as an individual and provides a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and offers a consistent approach throughout their life.
Working alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services, you will oversee the smooth running of these services, complete regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, update and review support plans, and work to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.
The role will require you to schedule/allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication and personal care tasks, and cover shifts within the services.
The hours are split between care hours and office hours, including alternate weekends. Office hours are based in our general office in Bradford.
Drivers required with the use of your own vehicle.
Skills and Qualifications required for the role
* Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues
* Previous experience as a Team Leader is essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in line with clients’ needs and expectations.
* This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Drivers required due to localities.
