We’re looking for a technically versatile IT Engineer to support our dynamic IT environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems run smoothly, supporting colleagues across the business, and helping shape the future of our IT landscape.
What You’ll Do
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to end users, resolving hardware, software, and OS issues across Windows and Apple devices.
* Build, configure, and manage desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
* Support and administer Microsoft Server environments, virtualisation platforms (VMware), and cloud services (Azure).
* Manage Active Directory and Azure Entra ID, including user lifecycle and access controls.
* Support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks (Cisco/Meraki experience is a plus).
* Assist with backup, recovery, patching, vulnerability management, and general IT security practices.
* Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong IT background with hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure, or operations.
* Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Azure Entra ID, and end-user device management.
* Exposure to networking concepts, VMware, cloud services, and IT security principles.
* Analytical problem-solver with excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical users.
* UK driving license and ability to travel between sites.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with VPNs, firewalls, or modern endpoint management.
* Worked in agile/project-based environments.
* Keen to develop deeper skills in infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity.
