Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Gloucester
Shifts: Monday to Friday 02:00 - 12:00
Pay Rate: £17.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics provider based in Gloucester. This is a Monday to Friday night role with no weekend work, offering consistent routes and a stable working schedule.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out multi-drop deliveries (typically 8-10 drops per shift)
2. Deliver car parts to dealerships, including both caged and palletised goods (ranging from small parts to larger items such as bumpers)
3. Load and unload vehicles as required, supporting warehouse operations
4. Operate pallet trucks and move cages safely and efficiently
5. Return empty cages from delivery locations
6. Ensure accurate and timely completion of delivery routes
Requirements
7. Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence
8. Previous experience in general haulage and multi-drop deliveries preferred
9. Willingness to support warehouse operations as part of a team
10. Good timekeeping and reliability
11. Ability to work flexibly to meet operational needs
