Provide an efficient and effective inpatient administration service for all wards, Allied Health Professions (AHPs) and Nursing staff at Raigmore Hospital, ensuring the smooth running of patient pathways.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely updating of TrakCare (Patient Management System), admissions, transfers and discharges.
* Booking appointments.
* Providing and tidying patient notes, scanning notes, and answering phones.
* Dealing with all enquiries and general administrative duties.
* Flexible shift coverage, including working Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required.
Eligibility & Working Conditions
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and is only available to NHS staff / local candidates.
From 1st April 2026, the full‑time working week will be reduced to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. An increased hourly rate will ensure pay remains unaffected.
