Job Title: Business Development Executive Department: Business Development & Sales Reports To: Business Development Manager Location: Office based. We are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to support the growth of our healthcare and care home client base by identifying key decision-makers, gathering procurement intelligence, and generating qualified leads for the Business Development team. This role is crucial in mapping the market, nurturing early-stage opportunities, and ensuring our solutions are presented to the right stakeholders at the right time. Key Responsibilities: Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to NHS hospitals and care home groups to: · Identify whether procurement decisions are made at hospital, Trust, or Estates level. · Obtain contact details for key decision-makers. · Determine current capital equipment partners and service providers. · Gather contract details including expiry dates and renewal/tender timelines. · Introduce our managed service offering and Pulpmatic Flex solution. · Offer to arrange meetings with the Business Development team or forward relevant information. · Submit Freedom of Information (FOI) requests where direct contact is not possible. · Follow up with individuals who have submitted enquiries via the company website to qualify interest and offer further assistance. · Maintain accurate records of all interactions and findings in the CRM system. · Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and lead handover. Skills and Experience Required: · At least two years’ experience in a Telesales or Lead Generation role · Proved track record in achieving sales targets · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Confident telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly. · Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. · Excellent IT Skills including using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. · Proactive, curious, and commercially aware. · Be Resilient Desirable: · Healthcare sector experience. · Understanding of NHS procurement structures and care home operations. · Experience submitting FOI requests. · Familiarity with capital equipment or managed service models.
