Job Overview
Oxford High School is seeking an efficient and well-organised Personal Assistant to support our Assistant Head, Director of Sixth Form. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident PA who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic and welcoming school community.
You will play a crucial role in providing high-level administrative support to the Assistant Head, Director of Sixth Form. This will involve managing correspondence, maintaining records, overseeing both electronic and manual filing systems and office administration. You will also be responsible for diary and email management and arranging meetings, preparing the necessary information and resources in advance.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate well to people at all levels. You will need to be able to remain calm under pressure, demonstrate a pro-active approach and show initiative for planning and prioritising work. You must also maintain confidentiality at all times, while also being sensitive, tactful and professional.
We are looking for someone with excellent IT skills and the confidence to manage all aspects of this important role. You will need to demonstrate outstanding organisational and diary management skills, and a commitment to high-quality administrative support.
This is a predominantly school-based role, working 20 hours per week term time only (including INSET days in September and A Level results day in mid-August).
