Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently working with a client based at a hospital in Oxford who have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with ventilation experience to join our estates team. This is a permanent full-time position working from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
1. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager
2. Act as Lead Technician for the site providing a thorough understanding of mechanical ventilation building services installation and maintenance techniques, including Medical Gas and F Gas.
3. Apply trade skills and experience, including one to one training to members of the team.
4. Ensure the satisfactory completion of statutory obligations and the completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works, all within the SLA and KPI's applied to site.
5. To be an Authorised Person for up to three disciplines.
6. Carry out maintenance/repair on mechanical ventilation services to plant and equipment across the site, including supervising both in-house staff and contractors
7. Carry out refurbishments and new works across the site all within KPI and SLA targets
8. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a need for participation in the on call rota
The person:
9. Must hold a recognised Mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience; full 18th Edition Electrical and F-gas qualification desirable
10. Must have a proven track record within maintenance / hard services
11. Will be the Lead Medical Gas AP and subject matter expert
12. Desirable to have prior experience in a hospital environment
13. Must be strongly Client focussed and able to take ownership of projects
14. Must have good IT skills with experience in the use of CAFM systems, word and excel
