Role Overview:
Teaching Assistants will collaborate with classroom teams to deliver practical support to pupils in their learning and personal development. Previous experience in schools is not essential—applicants with backgrounds in support work, nurseries, or similar fields are welcome. The role includes assisting with classroom tasks, promoting communication, managing behaviour, and encouraging active participation in lessons.
Key Requirements:
* A positive attitude toward supporting children with special educational needs
* Background in support work, early years, or related sectors is advantageous but not essential
* Flexibility to work with both primary and secondary-aged pupils
* A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (at own expense)
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Full availability for an immediate or September start (subject to vetting checks)
