Spire Regency, based in Macclesfield South Cheshire are now recruiting a Sterile Services Technician to join their team

Duties and responsibilities.
1. Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well-being.
2. Checking correct instruments are on trays pre and post decontamination.
3. Pack instruments/consumables for sterilisation.
4. Complete tracking systems accurately.
5. Monitor repairs of instruments
6. Checking functioning of sterilising and decontamination equipment according to manufacturers instructions
7. Decontamination of flexible endoscopes
Who we are looking for
8. Some Knowledge of decontamination of medical devices is essential.
9. Basic awareness of health & safety and hygiene.
10. Someone who excels in working as part of a great team
11. The flexibility to work on our rota
12. Excellent communication skills
