Overview
Kitchen Assistant | £29,500 per year at Thomas Franks Ltd. Location: Bath, England.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent | Hours: 40 per week | Term-time plus contract (48 weeks). This is a 7-day operation with a 5 out of 7 working pattern. Free on-site parking and a free meal while on duty are provided where applicable.
We are a mixed private school catering for 750 students and teachers daily, offering breakfast, lunch, supper and evening snack. This role is based at one of our locations in Bath.
Responsibilities
* To work well in a team, providing food and a great service
* To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, and follow the company’s brand standards
* Ensure food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled
* Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Be a great team player
* Assist the Chefs with some food preparation as needed
You will have the following skills
* A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service

* Organised with attention to detail in the kitchen
Knowledge / Competencies
* Good verbal English
* Good standard of written English and reading skills
* Similar experience in customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
