Job Description
Criterion Capital are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our in-house commercial team. The successful candidate will play a helpful role in assisting the financial and contractual aspects of our development projects which include commercial to hotel and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets.
2. Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Prepare and evaluate tenders, bills of quantities, and contracts.
4. Source and procure materials and subcontractors.
5. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
7. Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts.
8. Manage and track project expenditures and ensure accurate cost reporting.
9. Conduct regular cost reviews and provide financial updates to senior management.
10. Administer contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and resolution of any issues.
11. Manage variations and changes to the project scope.
12. Prepare and issue interim and final payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
13. Identify and assess potential risks related to cost and contract management.
