We are looking for qualified and experienced HGV Technicians who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out inspections on a diverse fleet, which may include main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials (vans), trailers, and tippers.
The work will involve (but is not limited to):
1. Routine and preventative maintenance
2. MOT preparation
3. Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
4. 6 or 8 weekly inspections
5. Correction of running defects
6. Chassis and fabrication work
7. Hydraulics and pneumatics
8. Improvement of vehicle standards
9. Electrical and wiring inspections and repairs
Ideally, candidates will be fully qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent). Additional certifications such as IRTEC and a HGV Class 1 license would be advantageous.
