A well-established and growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit a CNC Machinist to join their production team on a double day shift. Benefits Competitive salary (£32,000 – £38,000 DOE) Double day shift pattern (early/late rotation) Overtime available at enhanced rates Stable, long-term permanent opportunity Ongoing training and development Modern workshop with well-maintained machinery Company pension scheme 25 days holiday bank holidays Free on-site parking Role Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC machines (milling or turning) to produce precision components Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic programme edits where required Inspect own work using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) Ensure parts are manufactured to tight tolerances and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives The Person: Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter/Operator or similar Experience with CNC milling or turning (Fanuc, Mazak or similar controls beneficial) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Flexible to work a double day shift pattern If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking to join a growing and forward-thinking engineering business, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
