Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician To join our team. Preferably with background knowledge in commercial Buildings and installing or testing emergency lights. the bulk of the work does include emergency light testing and repair, but also general electrical maintenance and installation throughout.
Responsibilities
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Utilise power tools and hand tools to execute repairs and installations safely.
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations across all departments.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on electrical systems.
* Assist in the installation of new electrical systems as required.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role is preferred.
* Electrical Qualifiations Required.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical maintenance tasks.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential.
