We are currently recruiting a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with classroom experience who can maintain structure and engagement in the absence of the class teacher. The successful candidate will supervise pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a positive learning environment is maintained throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise whole classes during teacher absence * Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials * Manage behaviour in line with school policy * Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged * Provide basic support and clarification where required * Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour The Ideal Candidate: * Experience working in a school setting * Strong behaviour management skills * Confident leading groups of students * Calm, professional and adaptable * Excellent communication skills This role is well suited to graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced school support staff looking for consistent work in a supportive secondary setting.
