We’re recruiting … Support Advisor
We are recruiting in our Leeds Office for a Logistics Support Advisor.
The purpose of the role is to support the logistics function through clear and accurate reporting, trending, and analysis. Responsibilities include process adherence, compliance management, and support for week closures and understanding financial impacts.
Contract – Full Time / Permanent
Location - Leeds Depot (WF6 1RY)
Key Responsibilities:
* Consolidate all sites' daily performance data, record, track, and trend
* Manage and report delivery issues via a team mailbox and telephone calls
* Record and manage delivery failures and redeliveries
* Manage and process delivery charges and amendments
* Create and distribute daily/weekly reports
* Collate and escalate non-adherence issues and report progress
* Identify and report on stock availability by sites daily, including shortages and reasons
* Download weekly KPI reports
* Track vehicles for live delivery updates and analyze delivery volumes and timings
* Monitor vehicle fill adherence and identify opportunities
* Coordinate with CSC on daily performance and adherence
* Report on waste, tipping, mass balances, and loads for disposal
* Ensure turnaround time adherence at manufacturing sites and customer delivery points
* Ensure system data is complete and accurate weekly
* Record and manage customer complaints
Shift Patterns:
* Five-day rotating shifts over seven days, including weekends and bank holidays
* Start and finish times vary between 7AM - 6PM
Key Skills & Experience:
* Claims or investigative experience
* Experience in transport or delivery roles
* Experience in FMCG logistics operations
* Background in stock and systems preferred
* Ability to generate effective reports and analysis
* Knowledge of the dairy industry is a plus but not essential
* Experience working towards KPI targets
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Highly motivated with a pragmatic approach
* High integrity and objectivity
* Tenacity and influencing skills
* Curious mindset with a desire to improve business processes
* Ability to produce meaningful insights from multiple sources
