McTaggart Construction is looking for a Community Benefits Manager to support our affordable housing projects across the East and Borders. If you care about helping people, strengthening local communities, and enjoy working with partners of all kinds, this could be a good match for you.
You’ll help us make a positive difference by delivering community‑based projects linked to employment, education, training, supplier development and local engagement. It’s a busy role where your work has real impact.
What you’ll do
* Lead the planning and delivery of Community Benefits activities for individual clients.
* Put projects in place on sites covering employment, education, training and supplier development.
* Work with partners and our supply chain to build strong, shared relationships.
* Track progress using recognised measures such as TOMs, KPIs and Social Value frameworks.
* Support tender writing linked to Community Benefit and Social Value requirements.
* Produce clear reports that highlight outcomes and raise awareness of the work we do.
* Support accreditation activity such as Considerate Constructors.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in Community Benefits, Employability, or a similar field.
* Good knowledge of key partners in the regions.
* Someone who communicates well, builds trust and manages time effectively.
* Familiar with frameworks such as National TOMs and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
* Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
