We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join a warm inclusive primary school in East Leeds starting in September. This role is to run for at least two terms, with the possibility of extension based on school needs. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a key part in promoting positive behaviour and supporting individual pupils who may require additional help to access learning. You will work closely with teachers, the SENDCO, and the wider pastoral team to provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring all pupils feel safe, supported and be able to thrive. The successful Behaviour Support Worker will: Have experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, ideally in a school setting Be confident in implementing behaviour plans and de-escalation strategies Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills Show empathy, patience and resilience in supporting pupils with diverse needs Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all children This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Behaviour Support Worker who is eager to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school community.
