Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support
Location: Morecambe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:00
Start Date: January 2026
Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Morecambe. This role involves working closely with KS1 pupils, providing one-to-one and small group support.
Deliver targeted support to KS1 pupils in both individual and group settings.
Assist with phonics sessions and early literacy development.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher to ensure pupil progress.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
Previous experience supporting KS1 pupils.
Strong knowledge and experience in phonics.
Ability to build rapport with young learners and adapt to their needs.
Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping children succeed.
