Description

EUCF Process Engineering team is seeking Process Engineers to work in the UK Customer Fulfilment network. The Site Process Engineer is an onsite position. The EU PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfilment Network. This team is essential to establish best in class process performance across all direct and indirect processes, accelerate implementation of technological advancements and strengthen technical acumen across the FC network. EU PE ensures ops teams are equipped with functional expertise to deliver expected gains for technology advances and network‑wide process improvements. The team drives process control and shifting mean performance with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, building and region, to deliver strong performance. They work closely with Process System Engineering, ACES PM, Central Ops, launch teams, operations engineering and reliability and maintenance teams to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channeling resources.

The Site Process Engineer works alongside with the FC Senior Leadership Team, keeps high collaboration with EU PE functions, deploys initiatives, builds networking, and drives compliance for initiatives within an assigned timeline. The role initiates and implements EU wide improvement activities, demonstrates ownership, understands initiatives in detail and influences to deliver meaningful results translating to productivity and efficiency gains in the FC.

Responsibilities

* Work on Back to Basics (B2B) initiatives identifying top opportunities in the FC compared to other EU FCs, targeting biggest gaps to OP2 and implementing improvement action plans in collaboration with the local Operations Management team following standard improvement templates.
* Oversee the FC improvement program and set focus on most important areas, based on alignment with the FC Senior Leadership team.
* Dive deep into process performance using available standard reporting or create own data analysis, call out in daily dive deep meetings and collect feedback from the local team to convert information into a tangible improvement plan.
* Review open Action Plans on a weekly basis, engaging FC stakeholders to complete suggested actions and reach desired targets.
* Collaborate with central PE functions and other Site PEs from the same region to clarify process related doubts and leverage their expertise. Benchmarking initiatives are highly recommended to further reduce variation across the FCs.
* Work on Continuous Improvement with the FC.
* Drive network best practice implementation, leveraging local initiative led with local Ops and share them to EU PE for review. Once approved the best practice will be officially added to all EU Best Practice repository, helping the top 50% FCs reach Best In Class through the B2B process.
* Strengthen the framework used to capture and scale FC innovation. New ideas and projects from the FC flow through a standard process and presented to ACES process SMEs for review.
* Ensure big projects/ideas from the FC (10M$+ world‑wide saving) are captured in the Operating Plan Q1 Project Intake every year.
* Own deployment of all EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, ensuring execution with right timelines, compliance, and supporting the FC to commit to test and pilot for EU Projects, avoiding delays, and ensuring deployment and review in all EU FCs.
* Partner with FC Ops: Join the daily Gemba on the floor with FC Leadership to stay aligned with top issues and associate feedback.
* Organise weekly LSC Meeting with FC Leadership Team, updating them on EU Back To Basics, EU Projects rolled out in the FC, FC Best practices shared at EU level and FC local initiatives eligible for test or pilot.
* Support Site Leader and FC Senior Management Team by building strong relationships that allow the Site PE to gain trust and buy‑in for all initiatives; also support process‑related ad‑hoc tasks from the FC (less than 10 % of working time).
* Be ready to support or lead EU Projects to expand scope and coordinate more than one FC; this opportunity improves project management skills and stakeholder interaction.
* During Q4 will be deployed to the site management operational team, based on building needs.
