About The Role
Level: 4 | Department: Technology | Location: Southampton | Contract type: Fixed Term (6 months). The role supports integration requirements for an in‑flight programme reporting to the Senior Programme Test Manager. The successful candidate will work with and influence all Software Engineering disciplines to promote awareness and understanding of the Testing and Quality Assurance/Management Framework.
Responsibilities
* Lead the test strategy across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards and risk appetite.
* Validate and govern end‑to‑end integration testing strategy across complex landscapes, ensuring all functional and non‑functional test phases are covered.
* Ensure integration points meet quality, security, performance and regulatory expectations.
* Oversee integration defect triage, root‑cause analysis and cross‑team resolution tracking.
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with Quilter’s testing standards, coordinating multi‑vendor test activities and evaluating performance.
* Contribute to the planning, execution and reporting of tests across multiple projects and suppliers, ensuring readiness and quality at every stage.
* Collaborate with delivery teams, third‑party vendors and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery, providing clear updates to programme leadership and the Testing Practice.
* Establish and maintain robust test governance frameworks, champion continuous improvement, and promote tool and automation adoption.
* Provide guidance to junior testers, assign roles, set deadlines and oversee quality assurance professionals.
* Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure testing effectiveness, efficiency and business value, and communicate results to stakeholders.

o Supporting testing projects, developing and implementing test plans and strategies.
* Technical Proficiency
o Knowledge of software development life cycles and testing frameworks.
o Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
* Stakeholder Management
o Work with clients, vendors and internal teams while fostering an inclusive, psychologically safe environment.
