This creates a unique opportunity for a qualified accountant or tax professional to step into a leadership role with succession potential.
Your new role
This is a permanent, full-time position with flexibility to tailor responsibilities based on your strengths and interests. You may choose to focus on general practice – preparing annual accounts, managing client relationships, and supporting the transition to Making Tax Digital – or specialise in taxation, offering planning,pliance, and advisory services. The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the local businessmunity. What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for a professionally qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with strong experience in either general practice or taxation. You’ll befortable working independently, managing a varied client portfolio, and contributing to operational improvements. Strongmunication skills, a proactive mindset, and an interest in digital transformation will be key. Crucially, you’ll be open to relocating to the Isle of Skye and working on-site, embracing the unique rhythm of island life.
