Carbon Consultant - Whole Life Carbon & Embodied Carbon \n Up to £50k \n London \n\nA growing sustainability and building consultancy is seeking a Carbon Consultant to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about low-carbon design and data-driven analysis to help deliver meaningful carbon reduction strategies across diverse projects. \n\nThe Role \n As a Carbon Consultant, you'll focus on conducting Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCA) and supporting clients in reducing embodied carbon from the earliest design stages.
Using tools like OneClick LCA, you'll produce detailed carbon footprint models and provide practical recommendations to project teams and stakeholders. \n\nKey responsibilities include: \n * Carrying out Whole Life Carbon and embodied carbon assessments for new build and refurbishment projects \n * Using OneClick LCA (or similar) to calculate and report project carbon footprints \n * Advising design teams on strategies to reduce embodied and operational carbon \n * Preparing clear, client-facing reports and communicating findings effectively \n * Staying up to date with industry frameworks (e.g. RICS, LETI, GLA guidance) and best practice \n * Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to integrate carbon strategies into broader sustainability goals \n\nAbout You \n * 2-4 years' experience in sustainability, carbon consultancy, or environmental design \n * Experience delivering Whole Life Carbon or embodied carbon assessments \n * Proficient in OneClick LCA or similar tools \n * Strong understanding of UK carbon and sustainability frameworks and guidance \n * Confident communicator, able to explain data and recommendations clearly \n * Proactive, motivated, and genuinely passionate about carbon reduction and sustainable design \n\nWhy Apply?
