Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support for EYFS
Location: Leigh
Salary: £89 - £95 per day, depending on experience
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Leigh. This full-time role is focused on providing 1:1 support for a child in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who has undiagnosed complex needs, which include challenging behaviour and nonverbal communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with children in a 1:1 capacity and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and Team Teach training are advantageous. This role is perfect for a proactive and patient individual looking to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.
Key Requirements:
Experience supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 basis
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
