Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that provides both mechanical and electronic components for the MOD/Automotive and Oil and Gas industry.
Due to the increased demand, they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their product design team to develop software for micro-processor based embedded systems.
Responsibilities include:
* Knowledge of real-time embedded systems and a solid understanding of professional software development.
* Experience with wireless protocols is highly desirable, and an understanding of schematic diagrams would be an advantage.
* Extensive knowledge of programming for embedded systems.
* Configuring embedded peripherals on microcontrollers.
* Interfacing external devices using techniques such as GPIOs, SPI, I2C, and UARTs.
* Testing and refining at component level using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
* Effective communication with different types of audiences.
