We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic barmaid and waitress to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and beverages while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
* Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and presented well.
* Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
* Process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
Skills
* Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
* Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
* Bartending skills are a plus, as you may be required to assist with drink preparation during peak times.
