The Role
They benefit from a solid team of talented Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession. They are continually expanding and are now seeking to develop that team further by adding a Crown Court Litigator. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and litigate complex and serious crime cases before the Crown Court, manage a heavy caseload, and attend police stations. This is a challenging yet rewarding role.
The Person
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, be able to work independently, use their initiative, and be self-disciplined. The candidate must be robust, with the mental dexterity required for criminal defence. The role involves working unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends, to represent suspects detained at police stations. It requires full commitment, dedication to criminal defence, pride in one’s work, and a passion for achieving results. The candidate must be PS accredited and willing to participate in the out-of-hours rota.
