* Role: Full-time Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (QTOD)
* Location: Windsor and Maidenhead, based at Maidenhead Town Hall, SL6 1LF
* Type: Permanent, term-time
* Salary: From M4: £37,436 to U1: £44,579
* Hours: Full-time
* Operational Area: Windsor and Maidenhead

About the Role
We seek an enthusiastic, well-organized, and motivated professional dedicated to improving outcomes for children with hearing loss. The role involves direct teaching, training delivery, and managing specialist equipment such as radio aids. Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently are essential. All teachers are paid according to the Teachers Pay and Conditions.
About You
As a qualified Teacher of the Deaf, you will:
* Provide specialized teaching and support to students aged 0-25 with hearing loss across Berkshire
* Promote inclusion by facilitating integration into mainstream settings through early intervention, technology, and staff training
* Ensure individualized support in line with the SEN Code of Practice (2014) and DDA
* Collaborate with educational settings to enhance inclusivity and provide training and advice
