Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in performing arts and/or teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their personal best. This role involves working with Key Stage 2 children in an after school club environment, exploring different Drama games, working on script writing and performing short plays
Duties
* Design and implement drama sessions tailored to the needs of individual children and teams.
* Provide expert guidance on techniques, strategies, and skills.
* Monitor children's progress and offer constructive feedback to enhance performance.
* Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants.
* Organise and lead sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and development.
* Stay updated on the latest performing arts coaching techniques to continually improve coaching methods.
Experience
* Proven experience in performing arts or teaching is essential.
* A passion for performance, including strategies, and techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Ability to work well with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
