Teacher of Geography (MPS: One and a half terms fixed term contract – Full Time)
Required from 23rd February 2026 to 31st August 2026.
Owing to changes in staffing, the Bewdley School is seeking an exceptional teacher to join the school next
academic year, to teach Geography. This fixed term contract is an excellent opportunity for a newly
qualified teacher to gain their first early career experience, and full ECT support will be given. This will
include the opportunity to teach other humanities subjects at KS3, to broaden experience and
employability. It must be emphasised that this temporary role has been designed with a new entrant to the
profession in mind.
The Bewdley School, serving the Georgian town of Bewdley and on the banks of the River Severn, is a fully
inclusive and comprehensive school. Students are hungry to learn, their behaviour for learning being
described in a Local Authority review as ‘stunning’. If you would like to work with skilled colleagues in a
