Role Description
We are open to this role being either a Full-Time or Part-Time hybrid role for a HSEQ Consultant based from our Office in Rochester, Kent with some work from home flexibility (dependent on client requirements).
This will be a predominantly SITE BASED role, working with customers at their locations, or remotely / from the office.
The HSEQ Consultant will be responsible for providing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management consultancy, conducting audits, assisting with accreditation support, developing, implementing and maintaining management systems to ISO standards, and assisting clients with advice, decelopment of Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work and Incident Investigations, amongst other duties as required.
Strong IT skills, ability to work individually and as part of a small team are essential.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience in working with a range of businesses, including those in the construction sector, preferred
* Knowledge of CDM and Fire Safety
* MINIMUM L3 H&S qualification, Environmental Qualification also preferred
* Strong Knowledge of current legislation and best practices
* Consulting background preferred
* Strong Health and Safety background especially with development of Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work, development and implementation of management systems
* Auditing experience; formal qualification in auditing not essential but preferred.
* Experienced in using Office365 systems including word, teams, excel, etc.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Knowledge of, and experience working with and being Audited to, ISO standards (e.g., 9001, 14001, 45001)
* ISO 27001 experience useful but not essential
Salary
* Negotiable dependent on experience and preference on number of working days
