Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice in Moulsecoomb (part time and full time options available). The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
* Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow
* Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
* Maintain and fill the clinician diaries.
* Assist with inventory management of office supplies and dental materials
Requirements
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
* Proficient in using computer systems and dental software applications
* Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care
* Able to work well under pressure
* Full flexibility which includes working on weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
