Salary: £85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)

Do you have experience working in nursery or reception settings and want to make a lasting impact in a child’s early development?
We are recruiting for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-resourced EYFS unit, supporting children through play-based learning and early education milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children aged 3–5 in line with the EYFS framework
Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and social development activities
Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS lead to deliver engaging sessions
Support children with additional needs where required
Requirements:
Experience working in EYFS settings (nursery, reception, or preschool)
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
Patience, creativity and a nurturing approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
