If this sounds like you, then you’ll want to learn more about this opportunity… This role is key to ensure South East Water are able to use the Tanker fleet to respond to planned / reactive incidents where customers water supply is interrupted and to manage the Tankering team. The role will ensure our drivers, fleet, systems, and procedures meet industry best practice and are regular tested to meet our required planning thresholds. This role will oversee and manage team ensuring process, best practices are undertaken, and health and safety is kept to an all-time high. This role will invoice attending sites and undertake emergency testing. Main responsibilities: To undertake driver inductions, safety checks of the vehicles and vehicle inspections with Driver ensuring vehicles / drivers are compliant. To undertake sampling of tankers, assisting and attending sites to find solutions to issues that may occur. To undertake risk assessments, maintain records and tanker defect reports for audits. To manage drivers ensuring all work is planned, job packs are completed and compliant. To record driver infringements, disciplinaries and liaise with H.R To create, update contingency plans, processes that are in place and set team KPI’s.
