Working with the Natural and Social Capital team you will provide advice on ecology and conservation matters across the business. You will work with the team to deliver our ambitious biodiversity ambitions through our Section 6 duty, AMP 8 programme and over-arching strategy. You'll undertake site surveys across our operational assets for Invasive non-native species (INNS) and work with stakeholders on removal - this could include volunteer days and team building days. During your role, you will:
Responsibilities
* Look at the companies Biodiversity Management Plans and update where possible.
* Shadow eNGOs on our current projects where possible including project board and delivery meetings to gain experience.
* Work with our biodiversity champions and also help with the development of any citizen science that is needed across our programme of work.
* Work with DCWW comms, internal and external, on project updates and key messaging including any awareness campaigns that are needed.

Qualifications
We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 in an ecology or conservation related degree - that's it! no prior experience needed.
