Assisting the Scheme Project Manager in delivering various projects, such as road resurfacing, roof repairs, building repairs or adaptations, road surface works, platform improvements, and potential air conditioning installations. The candidate would not be involved with access requirements.
Support the management and delivery of project plans by ensuring all necessary preparations, tasks, and dependencies are included. Assist the Project Manager and team in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports on activities, highlighting risks and issues, and support the provision of evidence to meet programme deliverables. Collect, format, and distribute data to support project requirements, sharing information with relevant parties as appropriate.
This is a five-day per week position, working with a works delivery manager, focusing on delivering minor works (MEW) with a maximum project value of £300K. The initial contract duration is six months, with the possibility of extension.
