Overview
Senior Research Fellow (Child Health Services Research) at UNSW. Employment type: Full-time (35 hours per week), 2-year fixed-term contract. Location: Randwick Clinical Campus, Sydney NSW. Remuneration: Level C $155k - $178k base + 17% Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading. Visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
* Make independent and synergistic contributions to child health research within the Population Child Health (PCH) Research Group at UNSW.
* Lead research strategy, collaboration, and outcomes; drive high-quality publications and competitive grant acquisition.
* Develop meaningful partnerships to improve health service delivery and health outcomes for children and young people.
* Collaborate with clinicians, health services, policymakers, and academic partners; mentor students, groups and colleagues.
* Report to the Professor; no direct reports.
Qualifications
* A PhD in health services research, epidemiology, psychology or non-lab-based child health research.
* Commitment to staying up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
* Track record in high-quality, high-impact research with leadership potential.
* Experience in translation intervention research (preferred).
* Proven ability to generate grant income.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and build relationships.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values.
* Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and willingness to attend related training.
