5 days on, 2 days off (Rota Basis)
Shift 08.00am to 16.00pm
£13.50 per hour

Our client is seeking a 2nd CHEF to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Working within a private club environment you must be passionate, experienced and a team player.
This is a busy, fast paced and dynamic environment. For the right candidate this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion.
1. Being proactive, highly organised, approachable and passionate about food
2. A flair and enthusiasm for cooking with fresh quality ingredients
3. Ability to cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines
4. Previous experience demonstrating good management and effective co-ordination of a kitchen team
5. Good interpersonal skills with both kitchens, front of house staff and management
6. Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving
7. Positive and flexible approach to work (weekend and evening work will be required)
8. A positive approach to menu planning and development of the catering service
9. Immaculate personal presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
10. Experience of catering in a busy, large-scale operation
11. Previous kitchen budget control and menu costing experience an advantage
12. Intermediate food hygiene certificate, level 2
13. Own transport will be required due to location
